About The Charts

This blog is all about the Music Charts of 2009. I will be exploring the winners and losers of the charts. Who had the most sales, number ones and award?

The chart dates back to 1952 and from then has been the main objective for artists to lead. Their was 34 Number Ones in 2009 and I'll be exploring them all including the small amount this year.

The 2009 charts were an opening for many new artists this year e.g. Lady Gaga, JLS, Tinchy Stryder, Taio Cruz, Cherly Cole, La Roux, Pixie Lott and Joe McElderry, (these Artist all got Number Ones).
